Welcome to the Daily Hope Blog
Here is where we try to connect between the principles outlined on this site, and the daily experiences we are all living through. We are glad to receive your comments; please be honest, while remembering that courtesy counts. One’s point of view is much more likely to be heard, and to influence the thinking of others, when offered with respect for the others’ intelligence and dignity.
We will also be happy to welcome guest contributions to the blog, if you have any writings you feel would have a place here. Your writing would always be credited, and linked to a brief bio on our Contributors page (which will exist as soon as there are other contributors!). You could choose whether you would like your blog posts to be open to visitor comments or not. To apply as a guest contributor, please visit our Suggestions and Contributions page.

One day
the place from which we know ourselves
will drop down from the cloud of thought
to that place in our bodies where
the Divine imprint lives,
and we will look on the world,
on each other, on ourselves
with eyes that see from the mind of the heart
There are forces at work beyond our knowledge or understanding, and I am convinced that they are moving us towards the Good. A “bad” outcome on one day, may still be part of the path that ultimately creates the healing we long for, that raises consciousness in exactly the way that’s needed to move things forward.
We can fear the future – while holding that it’s not the future we’re experiencing, it’s our own fear in the present… and connecting, in whatever way possible, to the place in us that knows life is purposeful – and if life is purposeful, then the void through which we now fly is the necessary space within which the new way of the world is to be shaped.
Character and decency are not products of whose ‘facts’ you happen to believe, but of a sense of goodness and human connection that one feels in the heart, in our sense of wisdom, of knowing goodness from non-goodness. They are everything when deciding whether or not to vote for a candidate.
Once something has happened that raises your consciousness, even once, it can never un-happen – and so it joins the realm of the possible. And we all need more of that to help get us through the day in these disheartening times.
